What It Means To Protect Black Women-Part 3: Justice

“True justice is not found in this world.” -Plato

How can you really do justice to the women who fight for it for everybody else?

What does justice really look like for Black women and girls? What does that really look like?

Justice for Black women starts with equality. This idea that all that I am, all that we are, is sufficient in any space! And because it is sufficient in any space, I shouldn’t have to contend or compare my humanity with anyone else!

The same right to be, maintain, access and resource belongs to me too.

Read it again: the same right to be, maintain, access and resource belongs to me too.

Justice for Black women involves changing the world should to will! We would be granted the ability to no longer assume the worst results of or from even worse circumstances–confidentt than we too will be seen and believed.

Black women deserve the same justice we demand for everyone else.
