August Is STILL For Activism!

Activism.

the policy or action of using vigorous campaigning to bring about political or social change

For my entire life, I can tell you that my mouth, and what I believe in, has always gotten me in trouble. With this year, closing in on out FIFTH YEAR of blogging, I have to point out just how important activism–the work of activism is the reason this space exists. And I feel the need to remind you of all of this: I know the world is crazy, but know that the Ideal Firestarter is still here, and still here for all of you!

This month is going to feature causes you need to pay attention to, activists you need to follow, this month’s book is even by a clergy-activist, Elle Dowd, and so we are going to remember nthat FERGUSON IS [STILL] EVERYWHERE.
